About This Program
Step into the world of global diplomacy with Xtatic’s Model United Nations program, an academically focused course designed for middle and high school students interested in debate, international relations, politics, global affairs, and leadership.
Through realistic United Nations simulations, students take on the role of delegates representing different countries. They research international issues, analyze national interests, develop policy positions, deliver formal speeches, negotiate with other delegates, and work collaboratively to draft resolutions addressing complex global challenges.
The program develops essential academic and leadership skills, including:
Public Speaking & Debate – Present persuasive arguments, respond to opposing viewpoints, and speak confidently in formal settings.
International Relations & Global Politics – Explore how countries interact through diplomacy, negotiation, alliances, conflict, and international organizations.
Research & Policy Analysis – Investigate current and historical global issues and evaluate them from multiple political and cultural perspectives.
Diplomacy & Negotiation – Learn how to build coalitions, find common ground, and advocate for national interests.
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving – Analyze complex international challenges and develop realistic, evidence-based solutions.
Formal Writing – Practice position papers, policy statements, resolutions, and structured diplomatic communication.
Leadership & Collaboration – Strengthen teamwork, strategic communication, decision-making, and leadership in committee settings.
Topics may include international security, human rights, global health, economic development, climate policy, humanitarian crises, emerging technologies, and geopolitical conflicts.
Xtatic Model UN emphasizes more than competitive debate. Students learn to understand different perspectives, support arguments with evidence, communicate professionally, and approach international issues with the analytical mindset of diplomats and policymakers.
Designed for Middle & High School Students
No previous Model UN experience is required. Students are introduced progressively to parliamentary procedure, country research, speech preparation, negotiation strategies, resolution writing, and committee simulations, making the program appropriate for both beginners and students seeking to strengthen their Model UN and debate skills.
Think Globally. Speak Persuasively. Lead Diplomatically.
