Fashion Design Club

About This Program

Explore Style, Creativity, and Self-Expression Through Design

Fashion Design Club gives students an engaging introduction to the world of fashion, costume design, and visual creativity. This program is designed for students who enjoy drawing, designing, styling, storytelling, and expressing ideas through clothing and accessories.

Throughout the program, students will explore the basic elements of fashion design, including color, shape, pattern, texture, proportion, and theme. They will learn how designers create outfits for different purposes, such as everyday wear, performance costumes, seasonal collections, cultural celebrations, character design, and runway presentations.

Students will participate in hands-on projects such as fashion sketching, mood board creation, color palette design, accessory design, fabric and pattern exploration, paper-doll styling, costume planning, and mini collection development. They will learn how to turn an idea into a finished design concept by brainstorming, sketching, revising, and presenting their work.

The club also encourages students to think about fashion as a form of communication. Students will discuss how clothing can express personality, culture, function, creativity, and confidence. Projects may include designing a dream outfit, creating a themed fashion collection, designing costumes for a character, or building a small portfolio of original fashion concepts.

Fashion Design Club helps students develop artistic skills, visual planning, creativity, presentation ability, and confidence in their own style. By the end of the program, students will complete a fashion design portfolio and have the opportunity to share their favorite designs in a class showcase.
