Have you ever wondered how your favorite mobile apps are made? In Build Your First Mobile App, young innovators will step into the exciting world of app creation and learn how to turn their own ideas into functional, interactive applications.

Using laptops and beginner-friendly design tools, students will create and save their own mobile app projects, giving them something they can keep, revisit, and improve on long after the course ends.

In this hands-on program, students will explore:

Why we build apps – understanding how apps solve problems, entertain, and make life easier. UI/UX basics – designing colorful, user-friendly screens that are clear and easy to navigate. App creation tools – using intuitive, drag-and-drop or block-based software to build without complex coding. Methodology & mindset – learning the thought process behind designing an app, from idea to prototype. Testing & feedback – improving their app through real-time testing and peer feedback. Throughout the course, the focus is on methodology and creative thinking—helping students develop the mindset and skills they need to continue exploring app creation after the program ends.
